Approved loading place (import & export)

Do you want to import from or export to the United Kingdom? Unfortunately, there are many rules to be followed. To make these processes easier for you, we have compiled a list of everything you have to comply with.

Approved loading place ALP (export)

To be able to export to the UK smoothly as of 1 October 2021, it is important that the loading place has an ALP. The export declaration must be made when the goods are physically present at this ALP.

To be able to process your orders smoothly, the following information is always required:

  • A valid goods location (ALP)
  • A copy of the GLP licence and written authorisation for its use by the holder
  • Confirmation that the goods are present
  • The booking details and the office of exit
  • The invoice and packing list

If no ALP is available? Then you can always contact DKM for a tailor-made solution.

Terminals and approved place of unloading (import)

To be able to import smoothly from the United Kingdom as of 1 October 2021, it is important that the point of entry has a valid customs location. In Belgium, the terminals in Antwerp and Zeebrugge have these locations.

Another possibility is to drive to an ALUP under a T1. There are two possibilities for import under a T1:

  • Your truck drives up to the Keurpunt Warehouse in Merksem. DKM works closely together with this warehouse. We can clear the goods as soon as you arrive.
  • You have your own ALUP. In this case, it is important that you provide us with the permit.

Would you like more information on any of these possibilities? Then don't hesitate to contact us. At DKM, we are always ready to help you.
