New arrangement for pick-up of full containers via CMA at ATO

From Monday, 1 November 2021, a new regulation applies for the collection of containers via CMA CGM under customs supervision that are in the ATO Temporary Storage Facility (TSF).

The new regulation states that as of 1 November 2021, all containers arriving with a T-document to Rotterdam, Zeebrugge or Switzerland can be collected at ATO. This is only possible if a follow-up document is drawn up for this. This document replaces the previous T1 document. In concrete terms, this means that these containers are systematically blocked when the containers are unloaded at RTO. The blocking continues until the correct discharge document is known.

In order to keep stock records, it is important to have the MRN number and the type of this follow-up document. It is also imperative that you, as a supplier, register in time on the etis.ato-antwerp.com website provided for this purpose. Important to know is that this registration is not done by DKM but that you have to do this yourself.

The registration is done once. This way, the provider is known, and you can then log in with your own user name and password and enter documents.

We will show you how to register as a provider.

1. Registration

When you go to the etis.ato-antwerp.com website, you will be directed to the home page below. Then click on "Register" at the bottom left of the page.

3. Admission

After your registration, ATO will receive an automatic message and will issue an authorisation.

Note: it may take some time before an authorisation is given. An operator has to intervene manually; this does not happen immediately.

After authorisation, the system generates a validation number. You use this number to log in for the first time with your user name and password.

When entering the MRN numbers, all you have to do is log in. Then you will see the next screen.

At this point, the declarant must enter the container number, the type of customs document and the MRN number. The MRN number will automatically unblock the container upon collection.
